Sustainability App (INNOVA)

Project / Module Experience

My group was tasked with promoting sustainability. We had to come up with strategies and eventually decided on doing an app. I took on the task for Food and created subcategories. For food, there was an option to look at easy vegan recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and dessert and by simply using the app, one could find where is the nearest grocery store that has the ingredients needed for that recipe. There's also a subcategory where one could find the prices for example, "oat milk" and find their prices and where to obtain them. The last subcategory is to find vegan restaurants near you.

Learning Experience

We combined Travel, Lifestyle, Food, and Recycling as the main "categories" on our homepage. I came up with the app logo design, the icons for each category, the color palette, and the font of the app.
