Project / Module Experience

For our ACMV Report, we had to do a Psychometric Analysis and find the supply air, return air, and outdoor air temperatures of the Dry Bulb Temperature, Relative Humidity, and Enthalpy. We had to provide calculations for mass flowrates of Supply air, Outdoor air, and Return Air. We also had to do a Refrigeration Cycle Analysis and find the Coefficient of Performance of the Chiller. Lastly, we had to research and find answers on Filter Drier, Compressor Crankcase Heater, and an Oil Separator.

Learning Experience

I learned how to do the proper calculations for mass flowrate, Wcomp, Wincomp, and COP. I also learned how to plot the values on the Psychometric Chart.
